Individually made by Carrie Paxton Glass Design, each one of these beautiful dishes is unique so the exact design will vary. Each comes with a numbered certificate in a sturdy presentation box.

Carrie explained her interest in following the shapes carved into the stone, tracing them and seeking to emulate the depth of the mark with her brush. She was struck by the way the marks felt more weighted to the same side, and wondered if perhaps the original neolithic craftsperson was, like her, right-handed.

Carrie lives and works in Orkney, taking inspiration from the islands and all they have to offer an artist. She only works with clear glass, adding details with colours and enamels to crate the final design.
